Cheers lads :D

Has been a slight re-jig in the last half hour, resulting in the £500 and the putter for 5th going to someone else :? , BUT the £10K still has my name against it, so GET IN THERE!

Will only really believe it when I have the cheque in my hand, though I have had a confirmation call from YTM. Top game management as usual.

Good old Woody Austin, what a star!!!

yes - slight rejig in last half hour as not all transfers for USPGA were impacting.

all sorted and league tables are now correct.

well played on the £10K win. Austin was an inspired pick.

Well done Shaun. I kind of abandoned the game when I was out of the running making howlers at the majors esp the open transfering out porridge.

Great game though and look forward to next year.

ps one team was left with 13 transfers unused!

well done shaun, so much for my leftfield picks of weir and watney

still crawled in top 20 - although to be fair by going for the obvious garcia and austin i had no chance of getting anywhere near the leaders 3 weeks out

i know nothing about the game (golf) but enjoyed playing this anyway.

kind of pleased to see someone who is a golf nut win it anyway.

enjoy your prize.

Well done Shaun - that means you can now buy 100 FL Golf and 100 YTM teams next year and still have a cool eight grand in the hand!

Thanks everyone for the congrats............5 years of late nights and form studying eventually paid off (ie. I finally got lucky :D ).

Cheers Matt!

Think I might quit while I'm ahead, couldn't contemplate managing that lot!

Must admit when I did the YTM teams I felt a pang of guilt at not putting the £40 into a couple of extra OFL teams, but rather glad that I didn't

Tut tut Chris, not reading the whole thread

Putter has since gone west, but the no. 1 position is safe, so that's the main thing :D .

'Bout time you won another golf comp isn't it?

Went to the game last night - a neutral as I am a southern Manc!
What a pile of ......!
Was in the South bank and the first season ticket holder I saw leave was at 57 minutes.

Had to put up with 90 minutes of swearing and abuse to the players. OK - Jenas was a doughnut, Malbranque has only 1 foot, Robinson's approach to football makes the Graham Taylor era at Watford look like the "beautiful game" but ALSO Everton are pretty handy!

Forwards that work their bottoms off.
Midfield that has Neville & Carsley working their bottoms off and a wonderful talent in Artete.
Defenders that are both uncompromising and dangerous in attack.

Take heed - they will do well.

Radio today mentioned that Spurs are still 2/1 favourites to finish top of the clubs outside top 4 - IT CANNOT HAPPEN!
Everton are 9/2 for the same result and a much better bet.

If you do spread-betting then a sell on Spurs is a must if they are set for plus 60 points!

Toffeelovers enjoy - it may continue to be your season. You can even afford to buy Yakubu for the £10k you have. It is definitely all he is worth (Given that I have him in all my fantasy teams!)

I would love some of the action if there is any around Everton finishing above Spurs!

I think it is a stone cold certainity (Well ok - a good bet). Not least as you should still be able to get odds against as Spurs are still favs to finish top outside the big 4.

I watch spurs 5/6 times a year and they were so appauling I can see them getting over 60 points IMPOSSIBLE

Oh yes - Plus I do like winding up Spurs fans seeing as 3 of my best mates support them ;)

Only one thing better than that - seeing Liverpool fans announce that this is their year in AUgust and then tell me that they are not realy interested in football in December then suddenly love the game agai in April......?!

Have to talk about footy now my golf teams are appauling - although I did transfer Mackenzie into my best team this week (Pity Toffeelover had already anihilated me!)

Met the Racing Post guys last night (and Paul from JENNINGSBET- my favourite bookie  ).

Sounds like comp will defo be repeated next year, hopefully with JENNINGSBET as sponsors again.

Save those transfers next year, Adrian

Defo not grumbling, but that cost me 5th place this year :?

Swapped Storm for Steve Flesch in the final week, the loss of 20 points for a best round dropping my 2nd best team down to 8th.

A rare case when it would have been better not to have had any transfers left
