2011 Injuries/Withdrawals/Schedule news

Here's this season's version. I've upgraded the title to include schedule news as it is frequently relevant and is also naturally affected sometimes by injuries etc.

Link to follow in due course, but first up is news that Ernie Els will skip the Scottish Open and is planning a more US-based schedule this year.

Ernie Els played more tournaments in 2009-10 than any other golfer ranked in the top dozen.

Tim Clark apparently has blisters on his feet & it's possible he may withdraw from the Bob Hope, something to look out for.

That could be a blow to some people who were considering picking him as he has a good record in the tournament.

Spotted the comment about Clark's blistered feet too, however he is still listed with all the bookies so can't have WD yet.

Not sure a five round tournament is what you want after 36 holes play on Sunday; so Kuchar, Haas, B Watson, Marino etc. might all be better bets this week.
