I've got the Togolator up front in one of my teams and will shortly be downgrading to a Spurs midfielder to save a bit of dough. It's a bit of a tinker, but it's been planned for a while and will help me make a couple of of other necessary tweaks.

In the mean time, I've noticed that if I move tonight, I can get a couple of extra games for the cost of a single transfer.

Basically, I can bring in any player from the various teams who play twice before Spurs play again. Having surveyed the options, I'm considering one of the following:

Vermaelen or Walcott (games against Bolton and Blackburn)
Bent or Keane (games against QPR and Newcastle)
Larsson (games against Norwich and Stoke)

I've already got RVP and Sessegnon. I like the idea of Frazier Campbell, but am reticent to back a fairy tale return.

Leaning towards Bent. What do we think - waste of a transfer? 3 for 1s feel a bit thin on the ground and I'm holding 18 transfers.

Rule of thumb = 10 points per transfer
Bent scoring at 5pts/game = possible

Why are you looking to save dough? Many of my teams aren't worth anything like £50m at the mo as the star strikers aren't firing and cheap(ish) midfielders are becoming the points magnet de jours (Sess, Bale, Dempsey etc)

Because by downgrading Adebayor for a Spurs midfielder with a better PPG I can also upgrade Murphy to Mata.

I had a look at the Bent PPG and it'll be touch and go I reckon. That said, ten points at this stage would be very welcome indeed if he plays to form.

Will there likely be 17 better ways to get 10 points from a transfer?

he is on 99 prem goals
so he sure will be more than keen to find that net and he sure knows how

OR he could do a Tendulkar and be stuck on 99 for a while and getting desperate for number 100
