Just entered some teams in The Star.
At the checkout it gives you an option to buy credits for their Predictor game
£20 for 40 credits
£10 for 15 credits
£5 for 5 credits

It doesn't give any details of how to play it, just says "coming soon" but I bought 40 credits anyway.

Pick what you think the score will be for each match, you get a point for each correct guess. Dont know if its one credit per game or one credit per week. If it is one credit per game it will cost mega money. Its just like Super 6 on Sky Sports.

Each predictor entry costs 1 credit and lasts for one week. The table for the £5000 grand prize will be calculated from your 20 best weekly entries (only 1 entry from each week can be counted).

Each week there will be £100 for the highest weekly score, and the highest weekly score for the season will win £500.

Helpdesk

Fair play to Elkmaster for having the balls to spend £20 on something he doesnt know what it is.

Went to have another look this morning, I didn't complete any predictions last night but it's nicked a credit off me!
Now sitting on 39 credits without doing anything

Anyone else got a similar screen?

Edit: wonder if its showing as not complete as it wont let me makes spurs-eve predictions now?

So am I right in saying that if you enter 40 times each week then all of those efforts will count towards your best 20 weeks score ? In other words your best effort from week one then your best effort (from 40 ) in week two and so on.

If so then this will be won by someone willing to throw a few hundred at it during the season, just one attempt per week will give you no chance.

Don't think I want to invest that much in a prediction comp to be honest.

Hi Brian,

You are correct, this issue was caused by having to close the questions for the Tottenham v Everton match. It should now be fixed if you check again. The 'Tips Complete' section is so that you can easily see if you have missed a prediction when reviewing all your entries.

Cheers

Good point as one match down limits your chances of this week being one of your top weeks scores

I have also used my 'doubler' on one of the Spurs questions - it is stuck there at the moment

Dear Andy,

Thank you for your email. With regards to the postponed match, we will not be adding any additional questions this week, as it would be unfair on those who had made predictions already did not intend to return to the site before the games start.

Each week the same number of questions will be asked. Unfortunately sometimes fixtures are postponed during the week, and we have decided it is fairer not to replace the questions that we have already asked.

Kind regards,
Helpdesk

Hi Andy,

Just to let you know, you should now be able to move your doubler to another prediction.
